Why should I expect something once I have done absolutely nothing to improve it or at least not done anything to decrease any harm to our planet? Anyhow, school has demanded such a task, so here it goes:
By 2050, society will have surely collapsed due to our crescent production of industrialized goods, polluting the waters and our land, turning oil into plastic into nonbiodegradable garbage, and deforesting our forests.
As far as the economy is concerned, it’s quite likely that this scenario will not change sooner than it should. Globalized companies are deeply interested in revenues not environmental causes, which eventually will lead us to a darker future not possible to imagine, at least not in my mind. Hollywood probably has already managed such plot, but still, hope is not a real feeling for 2050.
We’re bound to divide our opinions as a society, mostly because of arguments and fake news, which lead us to a dead end of being forcibly positive about our future, otherwise there’s no point in continuing to live, work, or procreate. On the other hand, activities will try to convince us that it is time to do something in order to decrease or at least stop our planet’s destruction.
